Many Worlds Drafting Club

I could write a book about how life enriching the Many Worlds Drafting club has been to me –but I am already writing a book BECAUSE of the Many Worlds drafting club! The community Heather has created is one of the most supportive, kind, personally challenging, and growth-inciting things I have been a part of. Heather is talented at her craft and teaching it. She is organized and prepared and highly engaged with her flock. She is committed to making each and every one of us a better writer and also, a finisher. I can tell you that we all feel like we can do this and that we are in it together. She makes you feel seen and listened to. It’s my reward that I give myself during the day to open my Discord app and read lines others have written for whatever new Weekly Challenge she has set for us. And it inspires me to then write and (unthinkable before this) share one too. I write EVERY DAY and I never wrote before this. And it is messy, and it is hard, and it is thrilling and it is joyful, and it’s what I want to do every day, because I am part of a community. Join this group if you have felt you could never write a book. That was me a month ago. Now it is the very thing that feeds my soul. Also, join US. Every new person who joins is met with hearty “welcome ins!” and is shown a seat at the table. We want to hear your story. We want to cheer when you succeed, we want to help you figure out what’s tripping you up, we want to say you can do it when the whispers that you can’t get too loud. We also want to see pictures of your cats, or dog, or a description of the mythical furry friend of your main character😉

I feel very grateful that this club is available at a reasonable price. I appreciate Heather's insightful answers to questions. The discussions lead me to consciously consider what works for me as a writer. I've been most surprised by how much the sprints help me feel connected and accomplished. I didn't expect that!

Heather is an excellent teacher. She breaks concepts down into digestible, bite size pieces, and provides "real life" examples from published books. Not only that, she breaks down the examples, so we can really see how the concepts are written on the page. Heather is approachable, kind and encouraging. As a new writer, I have a lot of self doubt, and Heather gives us great practical strategies to persist and find joy in writing. I've been really impressed with how much information and support we get through the Drafting Club, and for a really affordable price. There is flexible access to content (recorded courses), and variable meeting times each week for the sprints and coaching calls. I've been quiet on the coaching call, but it is so helpful to listen to everyone else's questions - many of them are questions I have myself. It's nice to know that for all writers, there are common struggles, and opportunities for support! Oh one more thing - it is also REALLY affordable and worth every penny!

If you’re wondering whether to join the Many Worlds Drafting Club then wonder no more! I’d been drafting my novel for over 4 years, falling in and out of love with it along the way. I listened to Heather’s podcast religiously but nearly missed joining the Club (because life and its nature to get in the way!) but thank goodness I didn’t! I’m now on track to finish my novel by the end of the year but more than that, I have fallen in love with it and with writing again. The amount of value from the learning materials alone are beyond worth it, but what I didn’t realise I needed was having the community of people that help me show up for my writing. I hadn’t shared my writing with anyone before (except my mother and wife, so not sure that counts) but sharing with the group has helped my confidence grow hugely - especially as everyone is so supportive. It’s the best money I spend every month. Hope to see you there!

During the ten years that I've been writing, I've tried numerous writing and accountability groups. This one has it all! Accountability, online writing sprints, coaching calls, and community! Heather is tireless and so incredibly generous with her time and expertise. 10/10 recommend!

The Many Worlds Drafting Club has been the best decision I've made for myself all year. Heather has created a community that is incredibly supportive as well as practically helpful, and most importantly, completely joyful. I have learned so much from Heather's insight and thoughtful coaching as well as listening to the other members as they work through their stories. Joining the club has helped me draft faster and create a more meaningful story. Plus, I've finally found a welcoming place to connect with other writers.
